AIDA Partner LU KPMI Represents Europe at HUG 2025 in Seoul

From 20–22 March, AIDA partner LU KPMI (University of Latvia) participated in the HUG 2025 Symposium in Seoul, South Korea, one of the leading international meetings focused on Helicobacter pylori and upper gastrointestinal diseases.

Dr. Danute Ražuka-Ebela presented Europe’s ongoing research efforts to reduce gastric cancer incidence, emphasising the role of AIDA in transforming diagnosis and early detection.

AIDA is currently developing advanced AI models capable of analysing histopathological images with over 85% accuracy, supporting specialists in detecting precancerous inflammation and early abnormalities during endoscopy. This global engagement enhances international collaboration and ensures that AIDA makes meaningful contributions to worldwide efforts in gastric cancer prevention, diagnosis, and patient care.
